Hey guys, im looking at possibly buying a pearl export series set. It
has the standard snare, two 22x16 bass drums, a 10x12 an 11x13 mounted
toms, 16x16 and 16x18 floor toms and also cmes with tw tom arms, a
hi-hat stand, straight crymbal stand, boom cymbal stand and a nice
drum throne for $525. From my knowledge of drumsets that seems pretty
good, but i recently found out that the export series was
discontinued. I was wondering if anyone knew first of all what
general music genre that the export series is geared towards
(preferably if it will work for rock/metal) and if that is as good of
a deal as i think it is....thanks.
